Blakemore Retail, owner of the Spar convenience store chain, has bought seven My Local stores out of administration.
The announcement comes a week after the Co-operative Group said that it would buy six of the stores when the store chain went into administration two weeks ago.
The stores purchased by Spar are located in Rhyl, Rugeley, Essex, Cardiff, Chatham, Lambeth and Witham. They are expected to be re-opened under the Spar brand in the next few days.
Morrisons, which operated the My Local chain before selling it to Greybull Capital in September last year, has said that it will take My Local employees back where no buyer is found for the 32 remaining stores.
