Space NK is looking to expand its current UK and US store portfolio, with new chief executive Andy Lightfoot saying that he sees the potential to be operating more stores than their current 69 in the UK and Ireland and 41 in the US.
The new stores are set to open in key locations, including Marlborough, Wiltshire; Beverley in Yorkshire; Brent Cross, London; and Reigate in Surrey. It will also look to add two American stores.
The company has been opening new locations for the last decade, which has helped to achieve on-going higher sales.
Lightfoot told the Press Association that the retailer saw double-digit like-for-like sales growth in Q1, and online growth was also ‘substantially’ higher.
