SMCP, the company that owns fashion brands Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot has posted a 14% rise in third quarter sales.

The Americas have overtaken Asia as its biggest contributor of growth.

Overall sales for the quarter grew to 247.7 million euros, according to SMCP, who are controlled by Shandong Ruyi.

Daniel Lalonde, SMCP CEO, says that sales trends in China remained healthy, and that he had not seen any knock on effects of the trade war between Washington and Beijing.

Lalonde told journalists, “We’ve just opened stores in our 25th city in this market and we’re in the process of building up our network and brand awareness.”
