Skechers is to open a 3,500-square-foot double-unit outlet store at Princes Quay in Hull in late September, marking its first regional outlet location.
The store will be located on level 2 of the shopping centre, which was redeveloped last year to provide a £20m outlet deck with brands including Next, Ben Sherman, Bench, Suits Direct and Graham and Brown.
All stores on level 2 are outlets. Skechers will be joining with a selection of off-price athletic, casual and fashionable footwear and clothing.
John Magee, centre manager at Princes Quay said: "Skechers is a huge worldwide brand and we're delighted to welcome them to Hull. This is the first time they've had a standalone store in the city and I'm sure it'll be a huge success. They're taking a prominent unit on Level 2 of the centre, next to Beaverbrooks, opposite Monsoon, which integrates our outlet offering with the rest of the centre.
"Welcoming a major brand like Skechers to the scheme demonstrates the positive impact of the £20m investment in the centre, which included the development of our outlet offering and will continue with the pedestrian link to Hull Venue, which is progressing well."
