Thomas Cook, which currently has a booking ban on the popular Egyptian holiday resort of Sharm el-Sheikh until the end of May, has announced it is to extend the ban until November 2016.
Thomas Cook said that this was due to the advice of the UK government remaining unchanged on the resort. The travel company suspended flights in November 2015 after a Russian passenger plane crashed killing 224 people.
The Foreign & Commonwealth (FCO) has advised not to travel to this particular location unless it is totally essential.
Thomas Cook said there was "no clear indication as to when the FCO travel advice may change".
