Sainsbury’s have announced plans to accelerate the rollout of Argos stores in its supermarkets, as part of the integration between the two retailers. The grocery retailer took over both Argos and Home Retail Group last year, costing a total of £1.4bn, and are now committed to opening 250 Argos concessions over the next three years. John Rogers, chief at Argos, noted that "the opening of our 50th Argos Digital store just seven months after we acquired the company shows we are moving ahead at pace with our strategy.”
