Sainsbury’s convenience store has returned to London’s Marble Arch with the opening of the new  Marble Arch Local.

The shop will offer the supermarket’s latest product range including fresh food, fruit, vegetables and frozen food, as well as a selection of branded and own brand grocery products.

Bread and pastries will be baked in-store every day and customers will be able to pick up coffee from a self-service Costa coffee machine and freshly squeezed orange juice from an in-store juicer.

The store will also feature an Argos click and collect point.

The new shop will give Sainsbury’s the chance to showcase its latest convenience format to local shoppers for the first time since the closure of its previous Marble Arch Local in 2016.

Spanning 2,889 square feet, the store is aiming to attract a customer base that includes local workers, shoppers, residents and visitors to central London.
