It has been announced that cosmetics retailer MAC Cosmetics will be opening a new store in Queensgate on North Square, situated near John Lewis.

This will be MAC’s second dedicated store in the region and will stock the brands makeup, brush, fragrance and skincare ranges.

The announcement comes from the latest like-for-like sales increase of 35% for the health and beauty sector at Queensgate. Head of retail asset management at Lendlease, Guy Thomas, commented: “We are pleased to welcome MAC and their industry-leading beauty and cosmetics expertise to Queensgate. MAC’s well known status as a beauty brand, that inspires a loyal customer following, will tap into the high demand for beauty retail at Queensgate, and further drive sales in the beauty category.”
