After the company reducing some prices earlier this year in a bid to rekindle some growth at the top line, Pets at Home has seen growth in its revenue. The company saw a rise of 5% to £256.5m for the total group revenue in the 16 weeks to 20th July, with revenue from the merchandise department up by 2.8% in the period whilst the smaller services division saw sales rise by 18.8% to £40.1m. In a note to clients this morning, Liberum analyst Adam Tomlinson wrote “Overall, this appears to be a solid start to FY18 with Q1 tracking ahead of expectations in both merchandise and services, management’s outlook remaining positive and no changes to guidance.”
