Pandora has seen its UK revenue increase by 50.5% in its third quarter compared with the same period last year, as well as strong growth in its like-for-like sales, which rose by 17.5%.

During the period, Pandora opened 10 new stores, bringing the total in the UK to 179.

The Danish jewellery retailer said its focus is on new product categories with rings now accounting for around 20% of UK turnover, although charm bracelets continue to be the most popular products.

10% of Pandora’s revenue is now made up of online sales.

President of Pandora Western Europe, Peter Andersen, said: “During the third quarter, we have seen the ongoing growth of the brand within the UK, a key market for Pandora, and one in which we have successfully increased sales and revenue figures.

The all-important Christmas season is just around the corner and we look towards it positively – it is a very exciting time for the brand – both globally and within the UK as we continue to focus on developing our business, opening new concept stores and delivering long term growth through the popularity of the product.”
