Navabi has appointed Marshall Taylor, the co-founder of streetwear brand Palace, as the chairman of its advisory board.

Taylor started his new role earlier this month, and will be based in London to focus on their business intelligence and ecommerce strategy.

He co-founded Palace in 2012 but left after the brand quickly grew over five years, meaning he could focus on other projects.  The brand is worn by a number of celebrities, including Rihanna, Jay-Z and Kanye.

Taylor commented on his new role, saying: “I’ve always invested in companies or founded start-ups in niche segments that are often underserved or ignored by existing players within the wider marketplace; I think the women's plus sizefashion market is a perfect example of this. I believe Navabi is ideally positioned and I’m looking forward to the challenge of expanding the success achieved to date as they grow rapidly across international markets.”
