Oasis and Sainsbury’s have agreed a deal to open concessions in Sainsbury’s stores.
The fashion chain will open first in Sainsbury’s stores in Sydenham and Selley Oak before Christmas.
Sainsbury’s are planning to open a further three Oasis concessions in the spring. It has already given store space to the likes of Argos, Clarks, Habitat, and Specsavers.
Sainsbury’s are hoping that the arrival of Oasis will add to its own fashion label Tu, and help turn the supermarkets into more of a ‘fashion destination.’
At the moment, clothing currently adds £1 billion to its total sales.
