Corner shop group Nisa are set to sign an agreement with Sainsburys, barring the group from entering talks with any other potential buyers. Nisa currently distributes on behalf of over 2,500 independently owned stores resulting in a turnover over £1.43bn, making it a desirable group for partnership considering the impending Tesco-Booker merger. For any offers for the group to be accepted, they must be approved by at least 50% of Nisa’s shopkeeper members.
