Nike has opened a new store in New York called House of Innovation 000.
The new store is located in a 68,000 square foot unit on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 52nd Street. It contains a floor which is stocked using local data and re-stocks based on what customers want. Nike Plus members can reserve items via their phone and have them held in an in store locker ready for collection.
The sportswear brand is also offering Local Nike Members the chance to book one-to-one customer service sessions via the app. This will allow customers to work with a Nike expert to find the right item to create a personalised look at the stores customisation station.
The store is designed so that the tiles in the Arena area can be moved around to enable the store to host new spaces.
The store features the new Shop the Look service, where customers can scan an in store mannequin, and check for sizes of then items that the mannequin is wearing. The items can then be sent to the fitting room.
