It has been announced that fashion retailer H&M has opened its first store in New Zealand.
Situated in Auckland and covering 2,300 sq m.

The store will will stock fashion and accessories for men, women and kids and saw residents lining up from 5pm the day before the store opened to get the first bargains.

The fashion retailer acknowledged those who had been queuing by handing out coffee, juice and crumpets, as well as exclusive gift bags for those first in the queue.

Cutting the ribbon and welcoming in customers were Daniel Lettemann, New Zealand sales manager, Mino Kim, store manager and H&M’s Australian and New Zealand country manager, Hans Andersson.
Commenting, Mr Andersson said: “We have been waiting for this day for a long time now and the response from the Kiwi public was worth the wait! I am proud to welcome shoppers to our very first store and we are pleased to be able to offer our customers added value through fashion, quality and sustainability at the best price.”
