Luxury fashion group Yoox Net-a-Porter has appointed former Barneys New York executive Matthew Woolsey as its new managing director. Mr Woolsey will report to Alison Loehnis, president of Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter at the site’s London headquarters.
The appointment is expected to boost Net-a-Porter’s digital, mobile and content platforms. Ms Loehnis commented: "Matthew's understanding of both an American and international luxury fashion customer will serve him well in his new role managing Net-a-Porter’s global business. Alongside Toby Bateman at Mr Porter we have two exceptional talents driving our businesses forward to an exciting future."
