As the dust settles from Super Thursday, Moss Bros have also reported their sales figures for the year. Sales announced today showed that total sales for the 23 weeks up to Christmas had increased by 7.6% on the same period last year. Ecommerce sales accounted for 11% of the revenue in this time, and the improved “back-end” software helped drive the company’s online business. Retail sales were up 6.8% on like-for-like basis, with evening wear being the main driver of hire sales, which had increased slightly in the period. Moss chief executive, Brian Brick, said that the board was very confident in the outlook for the full year.
