Mike Ashley plans on closing up to 17 stores located in Intu shopping centres as soon as the lease either expires or reaches a break clause.
The closures will be a mix of Sports Direct, House of Fraser, Flannels, USV and Evans Cycles stores.
Mr Ashley has said that this will cost more than £25 million a year in lost rent and service charges for Intu.
