Marks & Spencer and Ocado are in talks to launch a food delivery service, signalling the end of Ocado’s long standing partnership with Waitrose.
Waitrose and Ocado have been partnered for 20 years, with the current supply deal expiring in September 2020.
A deal with M&S will likely see the end of the 20 year partnership. Waitrose have launched its own deliver service in recent years, called Waitrose.com.
Ocado has formed into a tech firm, making money from selling their own hi-tech equipment to retailers around the world.
