It has been revealed that JYSK, the furniture retailer will be opening its first store in Malta, its 42nd country.
Situated in the city Lija, between the capital Valletta and the city of Mosta, the store will be tailored for its 400,000 residents.
Franchise director at JYSK, Frederik Kroun, said: “Malta is a small but interesting market, which we see great opportunities to develop. Basically we believe in the market and that the customers on Malta are ready to get great offers from JYSK. We look forward to providing them with that.”
Future plans for Malta include opening three to four more stores in the next two to three years. To date, JYSK operates 2,300 stores worldwide.
