Health and beauty retailer Superdrug has announced that it will be the sponsors for the second series of the TV programme Love Island.
The programme which has single people looking for a summer romance as well as competing for £50,000 started on 30th May and is hosted by Caroline Flack.
Superdrug will be providing the singletons with its own brand body creams such as Solait suncare and bronzing, as well as having a 15-second opening credit, ten-second snippets during the programme and five-second closing credits.
Head of customer communications at Superdrug, Grant Spicer, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the new season of ITV2’s Love Island and think it’s a perfect fit for Superdrug. Summer is a key time for our stores and this sponsorship will allow us to showcase our own brand holiday products in prime time TV slots at this peak time.”
