It has been announced that London Designer Outlet (LDO) will be launching its first UK retail skills academy on September 29th located at Wembley Park.
The academy, which is dedicated to the outlet sector will welcome 20 retailers including names such as Marks & Spencer, Nike, Gap, Superdry, Adidas and Next, and offers tailored training content, designed by The Inspiration Group which includes core modules on standards, service and selling skills.
Sue Shepherd, the LDO centre manager, said: “Our objective is to ensure that retail assistants working at LDO have access to the best training in sales and service, enabling them to progress in their careers and deliver a great experience for every guest who visits. By partnering with the retailers themselves to help design the training modules, we have a ground-breaking product that meets the needs of the different businesses.”
If students don’t make the academy the first time round, there will be two more groups booked in for 2016.
