It has been announced today that London will host the first Xtend Barre fitness centre, which will open its UK flagship store in May. The location for the fitness group will be situated at 49 Marylebone High Street, covering a 3,000 sq ft area, which was secured via Shelley Sandzer.
The company currently has 131 licensed studios on five continents and 52 franchised locations and London will be its first standalone site in Europe where the brand offer workouts such as pilates, ballet and dance.
Xtend Barre owner and founder, Catie Miller, said: “Following our pop-up site in central London, we are so excited to be finally launching a permanent flagship on Marylebone High Street.“Working out is now very much a part of modern living, and as a result, competition for space has intensified.”
Acquisitions agent at Shelley Sandzer, Casey Philips, commented: “The D2 sector has had a massive growth spurt over the last five years with more small to medium sized offers such as spinning, yoga and personal fitness entering the market. “Within this very competitive market, Shelley Sandzer’s unparalleled knowledge of sites meant that we were able to secure the perfect location for Xtend Barre’s flagship.“
