Swiss chocolatier Läderach is to open 15 new stores in the US as its international expansion picks up pace.
The move follows the retailer assuming the leases of more than 30 Godiva locations in the country earlier this year and its entry into the UK with stores on Regent Street and Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and an outlet inside Harrods’ new Chocolate Hall.
Läderach’s global expansion began in November 2019 with its entry into New York, Toronto and London. This also included the unveiling of the company’s new House of Läderach offering in Switzerland, which features a café, factory store, chocolate museum and walk-in atelier where visitors can make their own chocolate.
The company has already opened two stores in South Florida and Miami this year and will open a further 15 stores in its third quarter in states such as California, Texas, New York and Massachusetts.
