Kurt Geiger is currently in the process of looking for new owners.  Its current owner, Cinven, which is a private equity company, has held talks with potential US-based buyers.

The company could potentially command more than £450 million as its products continue to grow in popularity with celebrity influencers as well as consumers in general.

According to reports by The Telegraph, potential buyers could include Steve Madden, Capri Holdings, which owns Michael Kors, and the owner of Coach and Stuart Weitzman owner Tapestry.

Kurt Geiger has ownly been under the ownership of Cinven for five years, previously being sold for £245 million by Sycamore Partners in Spring 2014.
