Womenswear retailer Karen Millen has announced that will have to raise prices in order to account for the change in the value of the pound in the wake of Brexit. Chief executive Beth Butterwick announced that the company’s mid-range products will see an increase of approximately 5%, stating that, “there is an opportunity for us certainly to capture consumers that perhaps once shopped in luxury and now want the quality but maybe the average disposable income has come down slightly.”
