The Chief Executive of Joules, Colin Porter, is set to retire before the end of the brands 2020 financial year.

Porter joined Joules in 2010, where he was the joint managing director.  Before that, he was the commercial director at House of Fraser.

He oversaw Joules' IPO on to AIM in May 2016 and has also been credited with achieving strong sales growth both in the UK and overseas.

The company said in a statement that it is still unconfirmed as to when the exact timing of Porters retirement will come, but that they have already begun the search for a replacement.

Ian Filby, non-executive chairman of Joules, said: “Colin has made a truly outstanding contribution to Joules since joining the business in 2010. During his tenure, Joules has achieved fantastic growth both in the UK and internationally.

“Joules has a committed, experienced and highly skilled executive management team who, along with Colin's successor, will continue to focus on expanding Joules as a leading lifestyle brand."
