The department store saw fashion sales rise by 7.5% with womenswear seeing a particular increase of sales increasing by 21.5%. Sales of menswear products had also risen by 8.1%, which was boosted by the popularity of Paul Smith menswear which had its first full week of sales. In addition to those sales, the technology department climbed by 12.7% in large part due to sales of Apple MacBooks growing by 53% as a result of matching a competitor's promotion.
