Department store John Lewis has seen its sales increase 11.5% last week year-on-year.
Categories that performed well include electricals and home technology sales where figures were up 16.1% on the same week the previous year, as well as Smart Home and Audio.
Other figures show that sales increased in the fashion category by 14.6% as the change in the weather supported a range of difference areas, such as womenswear sales growing 26.5% with good performances in Knitwear and Outerwear.
The department store also reported that home sales climbed 5.2%, with the furniture section performing well with strong sales in the bed and fitted furniture category.
