Airing for the first tonight at 9.15pm on ITV will be John Lewis’s Christmas advert, which features ‘Buster the Boxer’.
The department store will be partnered with The Wildlife Trust this year and has already started selling toys of Buster the boxer and friends where all proceeds will go to the charity.
Craig Inglis, John Lewis customer director, said: "2016 has certainly been quite a year, so we hope our advert will make people smile. It really embraces a sense of fun and magic, reminding everyone what it feels like to give the perfect gift at Christmas.
“Each year we work with a charity which fits our ad, and we hope this year’s campaign will encourage more children to discover a love of British wildlife and encourage support of The Wildlife Trusts.”
John Lewis have also partnered with Snapchat to create a tailored Snapchat filter that will turn you into Buster the Dog and will be available until midnight tonight.
The 2016 Christmas advert was created by adam&eveDDB advertising agency with media planning and buying by Manning Gottlieb OMD and directed by Dougal Wilson.
Mr Wilson also director the three previous Christmas adverts.
