Luxury accessories group Jimmy Choo has said that investment own store openings and continuing strength in its Chinese operations pushed revenue up.

In a report covering trading since June 30th, the brand saw four own-brand stores and converted three to its new store concept, including its Milan-based flagship.

Pierre Denis, Jimmy Choo chief executive, said: "The company continues to grow and to build on the strength of the brand and new store openings. We look forward to achieving another record year despite the challenging backdrop, and remain on track to deliver underlying profits in line with expectations."
