Intu Bromley shopping centre has announced that it has signed four new retailers, Kuoni the holiday company, lifestyle brand Joules, Skechers the footwear company and Lovisa the fashion accessories retailer, as well as a new alfresco dining scheme.

Retail property acquisitions manager at Joules, David Ball, said: “We’re excited to be in Bromley for the first time. It’s exactly the right space to bring our unique personality and style to shoppers and a key location in our continued strategy to grow our core UK market.”

The shopping centre went through an extensive refurbishment in 2015 including an expansion for the new restaurant overlooking Queens Garden. It has an annual footfall of 18 million with 90% of shoppers drawn from across London and Kent.

Regional director of Intu, Rebecca Ryman, said: “We’re investing heavily in Bromley with our recent mall refurbishment and new restaurant expansion and this is clearly paying off. “Our revitalised mix of brands at the centre will play a crucial role in encouraging customers to come from further and stay for longer and this in turn helps all our retailers to flourish.”
