It has been announced that shopping centre giants Intu and American entertainment company Warner Bros will be bringing some of DC Comics most famous super heroes to 15 destinations around the UK.
The idea is to create free family events in the shopping centres during the summer holidays. Characters including Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman will be in official costumes for the first time and will provide a meet and greet with families and engage with Intu’s kid’s clubs by encouraging the kids to search for villains that will be hidden in the centre.
Trevor Pereira, Intu commercial and digital director, said: “It’s been fantastic working with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring the power of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to life in a way that’s unique with this campaign in the UK and is certain to attract more families into our centres and help all our retailers to flourish over the summer."
The event named “DC Super Hero Summer” will last until September 2nd.
