Key retail industry publications Drapers and Retail Week will cease publishing their print editions as the parent company looks to restructure.

Top Right, which publishes 17 titles across trade journals, has said that it will “retire” Emap, the publishing house which has been an industry bulwark for 70 years and re-position the business to focus on online and events.

“We are at the final stage of the conversion [of readers] from print to digital,” said Duncan Painter, chief executive of Top Right. “Across the Emap portfolio 67% of revenues are from digital and events. Over the next 12 to 18 months all of the titles will become digital-only.”
