House of Fraser could be about to take a crucial step forward under its new owners with news that its website could reopen as early as next week and with new deliveries beginning to appear in its stores.
The department stores’ shelves have been very empty in recent weeks due to a dispute with their warehouse operator. Meanwhile the dispute with logistics firm XPO has meant the website has been down for three weeks.
XPO was owed £13 million when the department store chain filed for administration. According to reports, HoF has to a deal with XPO which should allow the online store to reopen as they have begun to deliver stock from their Milton Keynes warehouse.
