House of Fraser has announced that they are set to close stores in Edinburgh, Hull and Swindon.
Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley has blamed greedy landlords for the store closures, after failing to agree terms with them for the three stores.
The landlords have hit back, claiming that ‘each party will have its own interests’.
House of Fraser has said that they have agreed rental terms for 20 stores, securing about 3,500 jobs.
