House of Fraser's plan to close more than half its stores has been backed by creditors and is going ahead as planned.
They will now be going ahead with the closure of 31 of their 59 stores across the nation, which is now putting 6,000 jobs at risk. 2,000 of those will be House of Fraser jobs, along with 4,000 brand and concession roles.
The flagship Oxford Street store in London will stay open until early 2019.
House of frased have stated: "Following the restructuring, House of Fraser will have a more sustainable cost base and a platform for future growth to deliver an improved customer proposition,"
