Footwear brand Hotter has made two key appointments to boost its plans to expand across new platforms.

Hotter announced that it has appointed Victoria Betts, formerly marketing and trading director of fashion brand Missguided, as its first director of omnichannel and former Clarkes wholesale manager Adam Marsden as head of wholesale.

It is understood that Ms Betts, who has worked at Shop Direct and Sofaworks, will be working to build the brand’s reputation in the UK, US and European markets.

Hotter chief executive Sara Prowse said: “Vicky joins at a pivotal point in our brand’s story and her extensive experience of managing customers across different shopping channels and in different markets is the perfect fit for the next part of the Hotter journey."

On Mr Marsden’s appointment, she added: “Adam is a key appointment to our Wholesale team; this area has always been important to us and we are single minded in our determination to drive this area forward, targeting a four-fold expansion.”
