Homebase owner is planning to close 60 stores

Homebase are looking to reveal plans next week that 60 stores will be closing, putting about 1,500 jobs at risk.

Restructuring company Hilco will outline plans for a rescue deal next week, according to reports.

Homebase has about 250 stores and 11,500 employees.
