Almost 22,000 jobs are on the brink as the UK's High Streets struggle this year.
BBC 5 have been tracking shop closures and retail administrations and they found that more than 7,000 people have lost their jobs.
On top of that, a further 9,500 roles are planned to go through shop closures, while 5,100 are looking bleak at Poundworld, which is cureently in administration.
Over the span of six months around 1,200 shops owned and run by major chains have either shut or are at risk of closure.
