Hamleys has entered the Japanese retail market with the opening of two large stores.
The stores are located in Yokohoma City near Tokyo and Fukoka in western Japan.
The stores will feature entertainers, playground attractions, game corners and infant play spaces.
The Yokohama store is 32,300 square feet while the Fukuoka store is 58,100 square feet.
Hamleys plans to open a total of 30 stores in Japan over the next five years through its new Bandal Namco partnership, which plans to secure 1000 jobs and over 3600 in Japan.
