Nearly a million people took to the streets on Sunday for the annual Hamley’s Christmas toy parade.
A cast of over 400 actors took part, dressed as characters such as Paddington Bear, Postman Pat, Barbie, Fireman Sam and Transformers and Lego characters. They were accompanied down Regent Street by marching bands and dancers.
It is thought that the parade is the largest toy character parade in the world.
Grant Yuill, Senior Marketing Manager at Hamley’s, said: "It has been the most magical day.
"This year's Toy Parade had even more performers as well as a whole host of toy activity areas for all the family.
"We are delighted to have welcomed so many visitors to Regent Street today and it just shows that a good old-fashioned family day out is still what we all want for Christmas."
