H&M has announced that it will be closing six stores in Spain in the first half of the year, but will try to relocate affected staff members to other stores.
The company has put the closures down to ‘natural process’.
“The fashion industry is changing rapidly and we must adapt to the demand of our customers,” said the company.
During 2018, H&M opened new sites in Melilla, Sevilla and Almeria, as well as a new COS store in Madrid.
The company plans to open its first store in Alcoy, Alicante during the Spring of 2019.
