It has been announced today that Android Pay or ‘Samsung Pay’ will coming to the UK soon.

Systems such as Apple Pay have grown in popularity as shoppers can pay instantly in brick and mortar shops and also online to avoid putting in their payment or address details.

The difference with the Android Pay is that it works with the magnetic strips that are already being used by cash registers and will be compatible with Mastercard and Visa and the country’s most prominent banks.

Research via Google has shown that in the USA Android Pay gets 1.5 million new registrations per month. Expected to be released in Britain over the next few months, more information will be available soon.
