It has been announced that former executive at Home Retail Group, Gregor Ball, has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at Findel.

Starting with immediate effect, Mr Ball brings with him a wealth of experience having previously held senior positions at Littlewoods and 11 years at Home Retail as MD of financial services.

David Sugden, Findel chairman, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Greg to the board. His extensive experience in retailing and financial services is directly relevant to our main business, Express Gifts, and I am sure will prove invaluable.”

Also joining the board is Eric Tracey, chairman of the audit and risk committee and Bill Grimsey, chairman of its remuneration committee.
