Clas Ohlson is set to close all of its UK stores as part of its plans to take a new direction for its business outside of the Nordics region.

The company entered the UK ten years ago, and despite taking significant measures in recent years, have continues to make a loss.

The company will also close its German stores after the  pilot stores after they failed to perform.

The stores in Manchester, Liverpool, St Albans, Ealing, Kingston-upon-Thames and Reading will all close, and will affect around 150 employees.
