Tony Bennett, finance director at Charles Tyrwhitt has been appointed new group finance director at Moss Bros, the formalwear retailer for men, with plans to join the company in August.

Mr Bennett, who has been with Charles Tyrwhitt since 2009 and previously at Selfridges Retail as head of commercial finance, will be succeeding Robin Piggott who confirmed he was retiring in September 2015.

As well as Mr Bennett, Paula Minowa, chief executive of Strauss Innovation and previously managing director at Ann Summers, will also be joining the company as chief operating officer on the 1st March.

Chief executive Brian Brick, said: "Tony and Paula join us at a time where we have considerable opportunity to leverage the Moss Bros brand further in new channels and new territories.
"I believe that their combined experience will allow them to make an immediate contribution. I am personally very excited about leading the business through this next phase of growth and am looking forward very much to working with them both."
