C. Banner have decided to walk away from their plans to invest £70 million in the struggling House of Fraser department store chain.
They've decided to call off the deal as they have seen a drop in their share price, this has put a stop to their plans to raise funds which would've been invested in House of Fraser.
House of Fraser explained that they are now in discussions with alternative investors and are exploring options to obtain the required investment on the same timetable as with C. Banner.
