Fashion retailer Burberry will announce its sales figures on Wednesday, with analysts predicting the company will declare a 2% rise in like-for-like sales. In addition to this, it is likely that the post-Brexit fall in the value of the pound contributed to the increase in sales, with the reduction attracting many tourists to spend in the UK. The overall effect of this is set to raise the company’s profits by up to £125m. Another factor contributing to the boost in sales may be the brand’s collaboration with Chinese popstar Kris Wu as a quarter of Burberry’s total sales come from the Chinese market.
