Bulgari Ireland has reported a 10% increase in sales, growing to €1.1 billion, while profits more than doubled to €109 million last year.

The jewellery company uses a structure used by Facebook and Apple, involving redirecting sales from across the world to its Irish arm.

Asian sales, excluding Japan, grew by nearly €100 million during the year, to €474 million.  The Americas contributed with €120 million, and Japan also contributed €120 million.

The company currently employs 141 people in Ireland.
